General Location. St George Cathedral is located in the city of Chicago, west of the Loop, between Augusta and Chicago (N-S) and Ashland and Damen (E-W).

From the south. Exit west on Augusta off of I-90/94. Keep going on Augusta past Ashland, turn left on N Wood. Go 1/2 block on Wood. The church is on the left.

From the north. Exit west on Division Street off of I-90/94. Continue on Division past Ashland Avenue to Wood Street. Turn left. Continue on Wood past next stop light. Church is on the left, 1/2 block past light.

From the west. Take I-290 east to I-90/94 west (toward Wisconsin). Exit west on Augusta off of I90/94. Keep going on Augusta past Ashland, turn left on N Wood. Go 1/2 block on Wood. The church is on the left.

Public Transportation. The church is only a half-mile from the CTA Blue Line Division/Ashland/Milwaukee station: west four blocks to Wood Street, and south four blocks to Walton Street.

CTA Buses #70 (Division St) and #66 (Chicago Ave) also stop at Wood Street. From the Division bus, go four blocks south. From the Chicago bus, go three blocks north.
